PURPOSES
We will handle your data in order to administer your membership, send you regular newsletters and information on our company and its activities by email, sms or ordinary post, as well as to offer you the possibility of interacting with other members, which remains the main objective of our association.

CUSTODY
The personal data provided shall be stored while the relationship with the company remains effective, unless you inform of your wish to delete the data.  The data shall be stored for the legally established periods of time for the purposes of tax and accounting requirements, and we shall take your latest notification as reference. The data shall not be stored for a period of time exceeding one year in the event you request information about our services.

DECISIONS
The Association SHALL NOT make automatic decisions, nor shall it apply profiles or logic to your data.

LEGITIMATION
Given that the handling of your data is a necessary requirement in order to fulfil the purposes aforementioned, your request to register with Skål International provides legitimate consent to our handling of your data.

Since the provision of personal data is a necessary requirement to process your registration as a member of the Association, you are hereby informed that you have an obligation to provide your personal data, and you are also informed of the consequences of failing to do so, which may imply our refusal to provide you with the requested service.

RECEIVERS
1.- During the term of duration of the handling of your data, THE ENTITY RESPONSIBLE shall not transfer or pass on any information, except where legally requested.

2.- Alternatively, temporary transfers shall be made to IT Service Companies such as data handling companies from outside the EU registered with Privacy Shield. The Company has commissioned its virtual infrastructure according to the cloud computing model to a service provider and under the EU-US Privacy Shield agreement. – Information available on: https://www.privacyshield.gov

RIGHTS

Our partners may exercise the following rights:

  •  Right to request access to their personal data.
  •  Right to request rectification or deletion.
  •  Right to request restricted handling.
  •  Right to oppose to the handling of their data.
  •  Right to portability of data.
  •  Right to withdraw their consent.

 

All members are entitled to obtain confirmation on whether our Company is handling any personal data involving them or not. All interested members have the right to access their personal data, as well as to request rectification of inaccurate data or, where appropriate, request their deletion when, amongst other reasons, the data are not necessary for the purposes they were collected.

In certain circumstances you may request restricted handling of your data, in which case we shall only store the data for the purpose of filing or defending any claims. In other circumstances and for reasons related to your specific situation, you may oppose to the handling of your data. In such case, the company shall refrain from handling your data, except on account of purely legal reasons or in the exercise of defending any claims.

If you have given your consent for a specific purpose, you have the right to waive your consent at any time without prejudice to the lawfulness of the handling of your data based on the consent you gave prior to waiving it.

Should you feel your rights have been infringed with regards to data protection, especially when you do not feel satisfied with the results of exercising your rights, you may file a claim with the Data Control Authority through their website: www.agpd.es

In compliance with the provisions of article 21 of Information Society and Ecommerce Services Act 34/2002, should you wish not to receive more information on our services, you may unsubscribe at the following email address of the company, indicating "Do not send emails" in the subject box.

ORIGIN OF THE DATA

The personal data we handle have been directly provided by you.

The categories of the data being handled are:

  • Member generic identification data such as the name, postal address, email address, professional data and telephone numbers
  • Identification codes or keys
  • Details of your Internet connection, the system or device you use to connect to our website.

 

Data requiring special protection are not handled.
