PRESENTATION

The eligible Clubs have submitted a video (preferably on YouTube - maximum three minutes), outlining all the initiatives undertaken during 2016.

VOTING

For second consecutive year, each Club worldwide will be invited to vote electronically for the Club they consider should be declared winner. For obvious reasons, Clubs will not be allowed to vote for a Club in its own country.

Senior Vice President Susanna Saari, Junior Vice President Rafael Millan and Senior Director, Lavonne Wittmann will make up a panel of judges to represent the Executive Committee and each of them will vote individually.

Clubs will determine 60% of the votes while the Executive Committee will determine 40%. The Club getting the highest joint score will be declared “Skål Club of the Year 2016”.

If a Club from a country of one of the Vice Presidents and/or Senior Director is among the Clubs nominated to compete, another Director(s), in order of seniority, will deputise.

AWARD CEREMONY:

The name of the winner will be announced during the Opening Ceremony of the 78th Skål World Congress that will be held in Hyderabad, India, from 5 to 9 October 2017. The Club winner will receive the Michael O’Flynn Perpetual Trophy and a certificate valid for a free Double Congress registration for the 2018 Kenya Skål World Congress. Airfare excluded.
