70th SKÅL WORLD CONGRESS

The 70th Skål World Congress will be held in Budapest, Hungary from 1-6 November 2009. SKÅL INTERNATIONAL ECOTOURISM AWARDS

The 8th Skål International Ecotourism Awards will be presented in Budapest during the Opening Ceremony of the 70th Skål World Congress on Monday 2 November 2009 by the President of Skål International, Hulya Aslantas. The deadline for receipt of entries is 30 June 2009. EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEET IN TURKEY

The Executive Committee of Skål International met recently in Turkey. It is normal for the current President of Skål to host the meeting in his or her own country. The current President of Skål International invited the Executive Committee to Turkey where they were hosted for a number of days in various locations in Turkey. Read more.

BUSH FIRES IN AUSTRALIA

All of us have been saddened by the terrible tragedy following the bush fires in Victoria. Skål International Australia has opened an appeal for the victims of this tragedy. Donations should be sent to The National Treasurer, Skål International Australia, GPO Box 366, Adelaide SA 5001. Cheques to be made payable to Skål International Australia. WHAT SKÅL CAN DO
